As, per a famous dietitian “The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you
don’t like, and do what you’d rather not”. Sound cruel right? But there is
nothing to worry, as we are discussing 5 extremely unhealthy eating habits,
avoiding which you will not only lose those extra pounds, but will remain
active, energetic and fresh all the time:-
- Skipping breakfast: The most common mistake that we do is skipping a breakfast, which means losing energy in the early hours of the day that eventually leads to munch on anything (chips, fried stuff) throughout the day.
- Eating large amount of food in one go: Also known as food binging, which is the result of skipping meals. We let our body starve till it is on the verge of breakdown and then load it with food that makes the situation even more terrible. It is important to train your mind to say no, at times when your body feels full.
- Stress eating: Some people regard eating as their stress buster, which is another really bad eating habit that eventually lead you towards obesity and other chronic diseases. You feel stressed about your professional life or personal and without being hungry you just munch on your favorite candy, chocolates, chips, ice creams and other junk food.
- Eating while performing other activities: People just not realize what they are heading towards when they combine eating with other activities like -: watching TV, reading, chatting with friends, talking over a phone, while working or even while cooking. This unknowingly eating leads to over- eating habit.
- Eating dinner at late hours: The chief reasons why people gain so much of weight is their habit of eating dinner at late night or eating junk food even after they have filled their stomach with proper dinner. Eating too close to bedtime will not only lead to weight gain, but welcome other problems like acidity and disturbed sleep as well.
